Tre O'Neal — Founder of 4AR Development & 4 A Reason Foundation
Basketball is the vehicle. Complete athlete development is the mission. 4AR is a Denver-based athlete development ecosystem built on the belief that basketball can be a pathway to growth, opportunity, and lasting impact.
Jai O'Neal
His memory is the reason this ecosystem exists. Every training session, every program, and every opportunity created through 4AR carries his name forward — building the pathway he inspired for the athletes and communities we serve.
Forever in our hearts. Forever the reason.
Tre O'Neal
Founder & CEO, 4AR Development|Founder & Executive Director, 4 A Reason Foundation
Tre O'Neal built 4AR to do more than train better players, he built it to change the trajectory of young people's lives.
Raised in Denver, Tre grew up surrounded by the game. Basketball became more than a sport; it became a vehicle for growth, discipline, and direction. His journey took him from George Washington High School to Impact Academy, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Otero College, and ultimately the Division I level at Nicholls State University. Along the way, he learned that talent alone is never enough. Preparation, leadership, decision-making, confidence, and character are what truly separate athletes.
Personal loss gave that lesson even deeper meaning. The loss of his younger brother shaped his belief in legacy and mentorship, and remains the primary motivation behind both 4AR Development and the 4 A Reason Foundation. Those experiences became the foundation for 4AR.
Today, Tre's mission is to develop complete athletes, not just skilled players. Through elite instruction, genuine mentorship, and a commitment to long-term growth, he is building 4AR into a trusted destination for athletes and families seeking more than workouts.
Because at 4AR, the mission has always been bigger than basketball.
